What is Vestibular Rehabilitation?










The vestibular system includes part of the inner ear and brain that help control balance and eye movements. If your inner ear is damaged by disease or injury, vestibular disorders can result and are often with symptoms such as vertigo and dizziness.

Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based therapy program sued to treat balance and dizziness disorders. IT is based on the body's natural ability to compensate for balance problems.

Patients experiencing symptoms of vestibular dysfunction may benefit from vestibular rehabilitation - an approach of physical therapy designed at decreasing dizziness, vertigo and imbalance.

  • Repositioning Maneuver
  • Balance retraining and strategies
  • Home exercise program
  • Patient education
